Mr. Walker, President and CEO

President and CEO

Mr. Walker

LPC, NCC, CPCS

Mr. Walker is a clinical psychotherapist, philanthropist, and community advocate whose work has been defined by a steadfast commitment to expanding access to equitable mental health care. With more than two decades of experience in community mental health across the Atlanta metropolitan area, he has dedicated his career to serving individuals and families who are often overlooked by traditional systems of care.

His clinical expertise includes clinical diagnosis, psychoeducation, and the treatment of anxiety-related disorders, with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive and community-based interventions. Mr. Walker is the Founder, President, and CEO of Atlanta Counseling & Diagnostics Center (ACADC), an organization built on the principle that quality mental health services should be accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Under his leadership, ACADC has grown into a training and service hub, where he not only provides direct clinical care but also mentors and supervises graduate-level clinicians, helping to shape the next generation of mental health professionals. Recognizing the systemic barriers that limit access to care for underserved populations, Mr. Walker founded ACADC CARES, a nonprofit organization focused on bridging the gap between need and access.

Throughout his career, Mr. Walker has demonstrated a strong commitment to crisis intervention and advanced clinical care. His experience includes clinical practice in Level 5 hospitals and acute care settings, where he provided critical support to individuals experiencing suicidal ideation and complex trauma. This work deepened his expertise in crisis stabilization, safety planning, and diagnostic accuracy, particularly when serving high-risk populations.

Driven by a vision to eliminate disparities in mental health care, Mr. Walker continues to advocate for innovative, community-centered solutions. His long-term goal is to establish accessible, 24-hour mental health clinics in underserved communities, offering comprehensive services that include counseling, diagnosis, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management.
